Comunicato stampa Berlino, zona industriale urbana: una fabbrica si cambia d'abito per diventare luogo vivace e creativo. La Malzfabrik è un funzionale esempio di ripristino di un antico monumento. Il progetto di riqualificazione della fabbrica, così come dell'area circostante, ha cercato di preservare, tutelare, valorizzare e recuperare la zona seguendo una filosofia di sostenibilità. Rinato come centro di grande interesse è da sempre luogo d’incontro di grandi artisti. Le opere esposte nelle diverse gallerie che fanno parte del complesso, sono visitate da turisti di tutto il mondo. Il progetto focalizza l’interesse della ricerca e della selezione sull’arte contemporanea emergente, dalle differenti e poliedriche forme espressive, rappresentata in una varietà di generi senza restrizioni: dalla pittura alla scultura, dalla fotografia alle proiezioni che trovano spazio in una struttura davvero particolare. L’impianto per la produzione di malto si è trasformato in una vivace isola creativa in una zona industriale urbana che stimola il “pensiero non convenzionale”. Uno spazio per nuove idee, immersi in un luogo dove gli edifici in mattoni irradiano da tutti gli angoli il fascino suggestivo delle antiche aree produttive, dove trovare serenità e cibo per la mente attraverso l'arte. In questo spazio così anticonvenzionale che si rivela adatto all’esposizione d’arte contemporanea, il progetto vuole mettere insieme l'arte, quale forza propulsiva di emozioni e lo spazio di produzione che ancora è in essere nello spirito del luogo che vive ancora tra quelle mura. L'obiettivo è quello di osservare l'Europa attraverso gli sguardi di artisti che finalmente si possono confrontare e trasmettere nell'arte un fluire di stimoli, come avviene quotidianamente e spontaneamente nelle strade della capitale tedesca, emozioni, tradizioni ed esperienze vissute in una delle città più dinamiche: Berlino. L’Europa è milioni di cose diverse... Berlino, che dell’Europa è il cuore, fa da sfondo a tutta la manifestazione, la Malzfabrik ne è la piazza.

A space for new ideas, immersed in a place where the brick buildings radiate from all corners of the alluring charm of the old production areas, to find serenity and food for thought through art. In this space so unconventional that is suited for exhibition of contemporary art, the project aims to bring together the art, as the driving force of emotions and manufacturing space that is still in place in the spirit of the place that still lives among those walls.
The goal is to observe Europe through the eyes of artists who finally can compare and transmit a flow of stimuli in the art, as happens daily and spontaneously in the streets of the German capital, emotions, traditions and experiences in one of the most dynamic cities: Berlin. Europe is millions of different things ... Berlin, which is the heart of Europe, is the backdrop to the whole event, the Malzfabrik is its square.
