Unhinged is an arts collective founded by artists Eimear Bruen and Cameron
Laing, who moved to Berlin in 2011 and forged a philosophy in artistic
presentation, which combined with huge press and radio support, brought an
estimated 1200 people to the first ever Unhinged on a freezing Berlin night in
early 2012. As the collective grew, the Unhinged team have been able to plan
this bigger and even more extravagant follow up 'London Unhinged' with
further shows planned in New York and Paris in 2013.
Bringing together groundbreaking, established artists with the next generation
of household names from such a comprehensive artistic spectrum is set to
become the a regular feature in the Unhinged philosophy, as they continue to
scour each city for the very best talents from everything off the wall, out of the
mainstream and, perhaps a little...Unhinged. Proceeds from the event go back into the collective's preparations for
continuation of such events, and 10% of all profits will be going to the War
Child charity, War Child helps children affected by war in some of the world's
poorest countries such as DR Congo, Iraq and Afghanistan.
