Biography
Educated as an architect in Germany I moved to New York following graduation, where I founded the interdisciplinary office normaldesign in 2004. My work fluctuates between architecture and a wide range of artistic media, with a particular focus on public art and installations in the public sphere. My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally including at venues such as Manifesta 8, Murcia, Spain (2010), the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Bucharest, Romania (2014), Montalvo Art Center, Saratoga, California (2016), the Queens Museum, New York (2016), and the Cape Cod Museum of Art (2017), among others.
