Biography
Melissa Lam is a public art curator and literature academic that is on faculty at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Art projects she has worked on include: the Vancouver Biennale (Canada) Shatin Sculpture Project (Hong Kong), BLINK at ARTHK (Hong Kong) along with independent curated exhibitions with Para/Site Art Space (Dennis Oppenheim) and at the Exchange Square Rotunda (Blindness and Insight). Her academic publications include books and articles on : Postmodernization and Globalization; Diaspora studies; and a Comparative Study of Literature and the Visual Arts. She is Chair of the International and Multidisciplinary Interface for the Association of the Arts of the Present (U.S.A.), an academic organization.
