Biography

Persian born Anoush Moazzeni enjoys a performing career that has frequently taken her around the world. Highlights of recent seasons have included visits to America- where she collaborates with the "Orchestre OSP de Québec" under Jean Picard in Canada and in Brazil with the"Orquestra Filarmonica Jovem de Piracicaba"- Europe, and the Middle East.

She has performed at several venues including Roudaki and Avini Hall at home in Tehran; in France at Salle Varèse, Rotonde de l`insa, Musée d`art contemporaine de vielleurbanne;and salle Henrie Gagnon in Canada. She sheduled her next concerts in Bresil, NewYork and Tehran for Autumn 2013 and Feb 2014.
Versatile recital programmes encompass the contemporary and standard repertoire, as well as less familiar fare. Particular areas of interest include Electroacoustic music, Modern§Contemporary music and Performance Art . In a career which embraces many aspects of music making, she also appears as a sound designer and concerto soloist as she has specialized her Master of Music in Piano Perfomance in Contemporary music. She followed different internships in Electroacoutic Music, Sound Engineering and Algorithmic composition at Ircam/Centre Pompidou in Paris, in Germany under Mark Nishinaka`s supervision and in Canada with Aaron Liu-Rosenbaum. she made diverse sound installations and live performences in France, Germany, Netherlands and Canada

Away from the concert platform, Anoush Moazzeni`s experience touches the musicology. As a graduate in Musicology and Piano Performance she has started to translate the ''Silence'' of John Cage to Farsi, which in reserved to be published in March 2014.
