Biography
Monica Samanta was born in Timișoara. After 20 years in which she wrote over 10.000 articles about art, fashion and tourism, she gave up on journalism and dedicated herself to photography.
She studied photography at the faculty of Arts and Design of the West University of Timișoara, being licensed in 2014.
Passionate about pictorialism, pop art and mix media, Monica Samanta had 2 personal exhibitions in Nurnberg, Germany, and a collective one in Timișoara.
All works are printed on canvas, in series of 5, numbered and signed.
Presently she is part of an ample project named “Europa Boulevard” to be finalized in 2020.
