Biography

Federico Caldara- Italian musician who studied pianoforte under the thorough guidance of Professor Ottavio Minola. He graduated with an honours degree from one of the best conservatories in Milano, Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi.
Whilst doing this degree, he also developed an interest for Harpsichord. He pursued further studies with professor Marina Mauriello obtaining a brilliant second degree from the same conservatory, Giuseppe Verdi.
In May 2003, he won first place for solo Harpsichordist in the International contest "European Music Competition" which was held in Atri, Italy.
Throughout 2007, with the auspicious collaboration of the Senegalese "Griot", Lamp Fall, he became part of a Griot ensemble in Senegal. The objective is to create a new musical symbiosis, combining different musical languages born from the fusion of traditional rhythms and electronic sounds:
