Uncertain Entry. No 1.

These photographs were made up from many different individual photographs. Some of the photographs are made from putting together images of the same person and others from ‘sittings’ with a collection of people. They are all photographs of people as they were and how I remember them.

We are made up of many selves, differentiated characteristics and personalities.These selves will often contradict each other,pulling us this way and that.
All these selves have experience, that is transformed into memory which is then transformed into an expression and that expression becomes form.

The process of creating a functioning, coherent whole from the differentiated components that make up our character is sometimes known as individuation.
