Trauma Narratives-New Delhi #1
A still life series of photographic responses to a related narrative of a Chicago Imigrants witness of the Sikh massacres in New Delhi India, 1984. The brass sheet acts as syntaxical markers to the text, as the oligodynamic effect of the brass is a metaphoric memory cleanser of the cultural history being forgotten. I summon my inheritance as an Englishman to bring the Indian Immigrant narratives to life through Photography.
