Crush

Two children a shabbily dressed boy and
girl are sitting on a box in the back yard
of an apartment in the city. The boy is
leaning a gainst a wooden fence which
seperates them from the neighbor's yard.
The girl is sitting up and like the boy is
staring ahead of them. To the left of the
children is a garden enclosed by a
crudely made wooden fence. Across the
garden hangs a cloths line full of freshly
laundered clothing. Above the children,
on the second storey of the building is a
freshly painted advertizement for Orange
Crush. Oil on canvas 36 by 30 inches.
