The World Was Created In Six Days

Within this image I combine a personal history with a public history to better understand the origins of meaning and my own memory. Feeding off of the rich history of Canada's settlement I use the colors of the Hudson Bay Company at the top of the triangular composition whose base is composed of two sets of the virgin and child. Through this juxtaposition I intend to reveal the relationship between the origins of various western countries while imposing my own personal narrative using dogs and flowers. The personal becomes the general and vice versa
