A platoon of small soldier –figures are doing a murky, purposeless battle. After all has been done what remains are the morbid traumatic consequences of their actions. In the work quite often I use this masochistic sarcasm, and my body gets transformed into a plastic material, which I use to model the ideas. However what’s important here is not a physical action, but rather the aesthetic and beauty of the gesture which used to parody nothingness of my green plastic protagonists. The point that’s being made is the final beautifications with an exquisite and fine effect.
