ITALIAN ROMANCE / MODERN ANTIQUITY
Works of Great Masters of the Italian Renaissance continue to inspire modern artists worldwide. In this painting, “Medusa Rondanini” is crowned with a dove -the universal symbol of peace- to balance against the “negative” symbolism of the snakes that form her hair.
