Of Thirst and Degrees

I am interested in the notion of presence and absence, being and place. In this oil painting I try to portray a kind of vacant reality yet very physical attachment between two figures whose personal spaces merge. I explore lens-oriented environments embedded in human interaction. How human beings interact and negotiate these spaces inspired this work.
