The original painting was made by an unknown artist. I've brought the work up to date by cutting the most recent Italian Public Debt figure out of the canvas. The title 'Enjoy Your Champagne Berlusconi' is specific to the Celeste Prize being held in Rome, where the Bank of Italy has its head office, and is also a comment on Prime Minister Mario Monti's apology to Silvio Berlusconi for suggesting the debt would be higher if Berlusconi were still in power.
