The Lost Embassy

The Iraqi diplomatic mission to East Germany (GDR) in Berlin was evacuated in haste when the first Gulf War started. The land it was built on had been given to Iraq by the GDR for perpetuity, so it has never been cleared by the authorities of reunified Germany. It is a place lost in time, in a land that does not exist anymore and representing a regime that disappeared with the death of its dictator.
