A Solstice View From Here

These works are from two recent bodies of works titled "New Beginnings" and "Transitional Dwellings". The works present the physical world in states of transformation, cleansing and rebirth. In doing so, the images question our role within these places, and our effects on our surroundings and the effects our surroundings have on us. Each piece comments on current social and environmental issues while revealing how I see the world around me; interconnected and in constant shift between the familiar and unfamiliar.

Note: The surface of this work includes unpainted areas of stainless steel that reflect light and motion, adding to the visual impact of the piece. Therefore, photography of the work will never truly represent the surface quality of the actual painting.
