I made a small drawing (20x15cm), which I enlarged to a scale of 10:1. In conjunction with a scaled down model installation, it creates a strange distortion of perception. As subject matter, I considered using a small child covering his/her eyes with their hands. His/her eyes are fully covered to prevent them from seeing anything. The drawing is positioned on the opposite wall from the model installation, as if the child has an overview of the entire installation. I wanted the drawing and scale models to create a theatrical narrative with one another. Did the child see something scary or disturbing in one of the empty skeleton-like rooms? Is that why he/she is covering its eyes? Or is he/she simply playing hide and seek?
