My work employs scientific methods from my physics background to explore the nature of the 'perfect' line. Forces such as gravity in a simple machine,replace the artist's hand allowing a truly, controlled abstract to form. Until recently all my work was either monochrome of a palette limited to three colours; but now using the physics of optics in certain plastics, the 'lines' are de-constructed to form paintings in light.
