Painting (an abstract and mimetic arrangement that becomes a metaphoric meaning-thing)

This painting is an accurate description not of the optical effects of tangerine on blue bottle, but rather an accurate description of the way tangerine on bottle looks/feels/seems/is. It is not primarily mimetic, but metaphoric. I wished to express not only my encounter with the seen, but to equally express the character of the brush, the paint, the surface, and formal poetics. I aim for formalism equally yoked to illusionism.
