The photographs are digitally generated in a 3d packaged. Their collective title ‘Cold Children’ is taken from the psychiatric term referring to children who display “callous and unemotional” traits as a result of exposure to mass media.
The works are taken from a larger series of photographic Trompe-l'œil’s.
Historically the group of works have formed a photographic installation that uses the repeated motif of an empty photo-frame as its subject.
