Real Love

The documentation for this painting is a photograph I took with a broom on an floating platform tied to a pier. I replaced the horizon with a more suitable one for the kind of composition I had in mind.
The image contains minimal information on generic human endeavors which I wanted to romanticized, in order to have a contrast with the subject of the overlapping drawing. The schematic drawing and text represent the entire list of prosthetics possible in today's progressive medicine. The lines should connect the prosthetics' names with the specific location on the human body where the intervention is applied, but in my work the human figure is missing, as if the man would be only the sum of his actions and accomplishments.
