Caresse
opening up and creating.
This exposed identity of the artist in the galaxy who returned from the farthest reaches of the vortex of imagination.
The central hand refers to the Mushti mudra: letting go, the release of emotions and
energies.
The following hand relates to the Vitarka mudra: the force of conceptual thoughts, concentration and attention.
The next hand toward the outside is inspired by both the Hakini and Abhaya mudra: invocation of reflection, deep thoughts, research, and the call of memory.
These are elements that she uses in her creative process and the realisation of her artwork.
One more hand toward the exterior and we find the Vismaya position, that finishes with Ardhachandra movement.
Vismaya simultaneously invokes astonishment and -- through Ardhachandra, gesture of
Nataraja that holds the burning flame -- the sacred passion.
She chose to cast her own hand as an allusion to the hand of the artist, the maker.
Here she suggests all the other hands and gestures that are absent from the piece, and
implied present in it at the same time.
