Lost Image in Memories Op.3

My recent work is the evidence of the visual examination of my ferocious fascination for old masters paintings. At the early stage of my career I learnt a great deal of painting from them. Hence, it is my homage to those who I wholeheartedly admire and respect. While I am interested in formats that often appear in paintings produced by17th Century Dutch painters, I am also intrigued by the philosophical aspect of vanitas paintings. My aim here is to digest their accomplishment and reinterpret the traditional genre in my own way, while making into being more 21st Century.
