#fishing

I process the everyday to explore expressions of freedom and creativity lived within it. #fishing is a relational portrait that investigates machismo, mimicry and the poetry of crowds. I have drawn over a print of a collection of images posted to the mobile photo-sharing app Instagram, each tagged with the hashtag ‘fishing’. This piece forms part of The Elementals, a multi-platform project I’m working on that uses the Classical aggregates of humorism to explore everyday hobbies and the impulses we have to engage in nature’s principalities.
