Translating the concept of “Launch System”, our
proposal is to realize a tridimensional space in
which the visitor can enter.
The idea is that it is a type of cobweb in which the
drops of dew which generate life are held
trapped.
Our proposal originates by our interest on the
concept of the vertical landscape and the
suspended garden.
We tried to extend the garden's perception from
the horizontal plane to a spatial concept,
overturning the points of view of the observer and
the development plane of the plants. The space
comprehension is exalted by the spheres's
mirror surfaces reflecting the surrounding
landscape.
Chromium-plated spheres float on the air as
water drops entangled within the steel cables of a
cobweb linking the metal poles.
The Ipomees placed into the main spheres grow
along the cables and draw a tridimensional
space.
