I am interested in bodies: real bodies with all their peculiarities and particularities. By portraying body parts in the way I do, using the traditional crafts of embroidery and stitching, I want to investigate how those media might affect how the content of the work is seen. Is it seen as beautiful? Ugly? Or just funny?
