The Narrow path to the Deep North

The title “The Narrow path to the Deep North” is taken from the work of Matsuo Basyo considered one of the major text of “Haiku”(Japanese poem).
My project is travelling to the Far North on the world wide scale, and taking photo like through the eyes of Basyo. This photo was taken in Iceland where a lot of Myth and Sagas were written. I try to interpret the North Myth and Sagas by the comparative method , and represent the western landscape in the way of the oriental landscape philosophy.
