RITORNO AL FUTURO / BACK TO THE FUTURE

RITORNO AL FUTURO è il nome del progetto che ho elaborato sul tema
Expo2015 'Nutrire il pianeta, Energia per la vita' e che si articola
in 12 opere pittoriche in cui è centrale la figura umana.


Perchè RITORNO AL FUTURO ?
Perchè credo fortemente che per fare due passi in avanti verso il
Futuro, dobbiamo farne uno indietro per recuperare e sviluppare valori
importanti lasciati per strada in questa frenetica corsa.
Credo che una civiltà che voglia definirsi 'avanzata' ,e non soltanto
moderna, debba essere in grado di coniugare il progresso tecnologico
ed economico con quello umano.
Centrale nel mio progetto è appunto la figura umana: uomini e donne ,
specchio di alcune incongruenze e diseguaglianze prodotte dalla
società contemporanea.
Expo è infatti una finestra sul Futuro, un futuro dove mi auspico ci
sia adeguato nutrimento per il corpo ..ma anche per l'anima.. di
tutti.
Solo rieducandoci alla Bellezza e non alla 'convenienza senza
scrupoli' potremo pensare di costruire il nostro Futuro.

BACK TO THE FUTURE is the project that I worked out on the topic
Expo2015 'Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life' .

Why BACK TO THE FUTURE?
Because I strongly believe that for making two steps forward towards
Future, we must make one back for recovering and developing important values
left behind in this frantic race.
I believe that a civilization that wants to call itself 'advanced', and not only
modern, should be able to combine the technological and economic progress
with the human's one.
Central to my project is the Human Figure: Men and Women,
mirror of inconsistencies and inequalities produced by
contemporary society.
Expo is a window on the future, where I hope there will be enough food for the body ..but also for the Soul ..of everyone.
Only re-educating ourselves to Beauty and not only to 'convenience without
scruples' we will be able to build our Future.
