The Remembered Film

Influenced by the history of French avant-garde film, 'The Remembered Film' explores female representation through restaged moments and gestures from cinema.

The film re-imagines these scenes in a cinematic and richly textured French château that seems to exist outside of time, and stars its owner – a singer, writer, performance artist and former tightrope walker.
