This artwork is freely inspired by a poem Treasure from the collection A Bouquet of

Czech folktales author Karel Jaromír Erben. A Bouquet was inspired by Erben's love of Slavonic myth and the folklore surrounding such creatures as The Noonday Witch

and The Water Goblin
These poems are horrifying and beautiful in the same time. I´m looking for the

traditionals symbols who are actual for the modern man of today..

What is the poem about? On Easter Friday, the rocks are opening. Enterprising

people can see the treasure inside. But it´s riskful. A woman forgets her child theree...

In my painting, the treasure is time traveling. Its appearance maybe changes but its influence can be intense equally.
We can draw from the treasure. We can dream, It can feel amazed, absorbed, enlightened.
Does it make us observe, act or disremember? Do you know euforia?

Persons, as well as rock can close or open to the world...
