Offering to Xipe-Totec

Xipe-Totec is an ancient deity of the Mexica culture. His name means "our lord the flayed". He represents fertility and regeneration. New life arising from death.
This diptych deals with that subject. It is a collage painting made on a rough wooden frame that present itself as an offering for this mythical representation of the concept of renewal.
