Disboscamento (fatti di Cronaca con immagini trovate in rete)
"Disboscamento" (marmo, foglia d’oro, ossidi, 2010, cm 30x30x3, pezzo unico, dotata di cornice in metallo fatta a mano, che si aggancia al muro) nasce da un'immagine fotografica trovata in rete
che trattava il disboscamento di aree abitate da popolazioni
costrette poi ad emigrare per l'impoverimento complessivo dell'economia locale
a seguito dei tagli selvaggi.
Nella trasformazione del disegno che l'artista
opera dall'immagine a cui si è ispirato,
ogni tronco a terra porta una croce a rappresentare una cassa funebre
che contiene l'azione irresponsabile causa di rovina e morte.
Anche qui si nota l'uso della pittura e l'applicazione della foglia d'oro.

DEFORESTATION (news item and image from Internet), SCULPTURE, GREEN, ENVIRONMENT, SOCIO-POLITICS, cm 30x30x3
DEFORESTATION ( 2010, marble, golden leaf, tarnish, cm 30x30x3, one piece, equipped with an handmade iron frame, adaptable to the wall ) was born from an Internet image regarding the deforestation of a populated area, the people were later forced to leave the region because of the impoverishment of the local economy due to the wild cut. The artist has modified the image from Internet. In his own drawing, every cut trunk on the ground shows a cross, figuring out a wooden coffin, the irresponsible choise causes destruction and death. In this work of art, as well as in other piece by Berni, is notable the painting and the golden leaf applying.
