Journey to the Promised Land

The thing you desire so much in the end smothers you with the costs of having it. These costs contradicting in manner: for freedom you must struggle, for peace you must fight, for safety you must endure pain and for a new life there is many a sacrifice.
This piece is a symbolic echo of the many voices each day attempting to find a new home, a better life, a promised land.
