Part of the Imago Mundi international art project, Huia Song Remembered, is drawn from a remembered sound of the extinct Huia bird whistled to the tune of a childhood memory. No actual recordings of the Huia exist.The artworks from New Zealand were exhibited in Trieste, Italy and also compiled to make a book.
