I am sincerely me

Self-portrait of me offering my heart to ... you. Offering my heart is inspired on one of the iconographic drawings, ‘Sincerita’, by Cesare Ripa (late 1500 - early 1600) . I have chosen to use white body paint and double exposure to give the photograph a vulnerable look and feel. The other reason I used double exposure is because of a certain duality: on one hand I love and cherish myself, my heart. On the other hand I want to share/show myself to the world, with a watchful eye.
