Victimization

Inducing a (false) identity has been an institutionalized/or: a common practice for quite some time.
But it took long before its consequences were seen (across societies).
Every person has a unique identity.
Insisting on changing a person’s identity (and giving them a false character/identity) comes at a great price;
Throughout history, religion has been trying to exert its power to inculcate uniform beliefs in their followers’ minds, and identical norms, and thus control over the society:
Think the way we tell you to think
Act as we direct you to act
Pray as we instruct you to pray
Eat what we tell you to eat …

All and all, it paves the path to racism, war and a narrow-minded world view.
