Portraits

This work has 4 pieces that it consists of 100 portraits, 25 portraits each. My primary inspiration for creating this series was my interest in perceiving the character and identity of people and the diversity of form and mimics of people faces. The transformed faces that due to their inner conflicts and tensions, lack expression and are as vary as the number of people.
In the process of creating these paintings, I placed dead and dried up layers of colors on my painting pallet next to each other like a puzzle to make a new portrait. Sometimes the layers match easily but sometimes they refuse to match and everything happened accordingly.
