Beringen - Y2
Abstract mining 'landscape'/ atmosphere. Acrylics and coal on canvas.
I used 'regular' paint combined with the 'coal paint' I'm developing myself, and some of Stuart Semple's Black 2.0. The coal I used in this work is a combination of purchased coal and stones from the slag heap of Beringen, Belgium. (I was born a stone's throw from that slag heap ;-).
