Nocturne

The painting is inspired by a real ship for tourist walks in the city of Varna and at the same time it is an allegory of theatrical production, which features a stage decor, a canvas-raising curtain and a trumpet actor. The woman, a source of inspiration, is present as a sculpture of bronze on the ship's nose, floating above the waves that are not visible but taking part in the picture as reflections on the shell of the ship.
