During Covid lockdowns I had an idea to produce mural art for several walls. The starting point is always a photo taken on my Samsung phone. Then I use Photoshop to create the desired effect (the installation process is very much a consideration of the treatment I give). Then the very large file (created at full size) is saved as a pdf. Each of my murals is printed from Adobe (with trim marks and page labels) to a standard A4 Epson home printer, on 80gsm (photocopier) paper. I hand trim each page (several hundred of them!). My wonderfully supportive fellow-artist husband (#mediummixer) installs each row, page by page - teamwork makes the dreamwork!
