I Am a Work in Progress

Based on x-rays of broken bones, this painting shows a man with no face, stripped bare; anonymous. I wanted to paint a picture of the everyman and show the sense of dislocation in the human condition. Juxtaposing the x-ray against the ordinary backdrop of a snow-covered mountains. It is also a painting of various x-rays compiled from sporting accidents.
