It is an honour and a privilege to be an Artist, but also it is a huge responsibility for what we, Artists, are bringing to the world within our creativity. One of the worldly known writers Dostoevsky said ‘Beauty Will Save the World’ and the Red colour that I use in my work, for me is directly related to this famous quote and has a deep meaning. In Russian language ‘red’ often means ‘beautiful’, also in many cultures ‘red’ means passion and love, in Tibetan philosophy ‘red’ means connection with the Universe-with everybody and everyone in the entire world.
I believe that images and objects created with passion can take an immense power, the powerful energy that sometimes can be found in religious art and has an ability to alter one’s mental state and even transform the reality. All the artists are responsible for every single brush stroke they produce and the more positive and beautiful objects created today- the better will be the world to live in tomorrow. Beauty will save the World, and in my belief - Art is this powerful tool to bring the Beauty to the World - to Save it!
