Decipher

This work was made for an invitational exhibition entitled 'Seven Materials' where 14 artists were invited to create a work in a specified media. I was asked to use 'paper' so re-pulped newspaper and tinted it with natural pigments I dug from the earth. The various elements are held together with screws and are embossed and/or stenciled with assorted abstract imagery that might be readable.
