Portrait of Women's Plight II
I believe that everyone has the right to search a better world, and food is a human right and essential for human life. Without food there is hunger, conflict and death, in some other countries food is not always justly accessible because access to food depends on fair and efficient systems for production and distribution.
The artwork visualizes the sad stories, hard works, loneliness and determination of Filipina migrant workers. It is a portrait of their plight and a salute to their strong determination and courage to combat all the hardship and loneliness just to provide food and future for their children.
