Through the lens is show and tell some of the protagonists of the cinema and theater. Each of them collects the pieces of their identity, leaving the eye to
Melissa Marchetti the task of assembling them into a picture that manages to tell a story to the viewer.
The single pose, the clothes and the scenarios are an attempt to disseminate clues, hints, traces of itself and its female population.
In front of each photo as the public faces of a window of multiple identities and unwittingly starts a game that leads him to look at the single portrait identifying with different points of view: that of the woman, an actress, a director, an actor, of mother, daughter, a spectator, as a worker, the public persona and private sectors at the same time.
Portraits are those of Melissa Marchetti, plus let watch, set in motion the mechanisms in which the viewer plays an important role: he is the tailor of the plot of a story, deposited in his hands by the look of a photographer.
