Fighting against the specter eternal oblivion , preserving the memory and the memory of small daily gestures , objects and affections of our past and have always been an inherent tendency of human beings, a primal instinct . The central themes of his work are always memory, dream, fairy tale and love. Active for years on the national and international Alessandra Baldoni is today one of the artists selected for the Cairo Award 2013.
His latest work , "Save As" from the title stands as a tribute to the last book of Antonella Anedda , poet dear to the artist . But it is also at the same time a declaration of love towards something that needs to be preserved from oblivion and forgetfulness and stems from the artist to pay tribute to those writers who have played a key role in his aesthetic .
Click poetic and refined, which conceal a strong symbolic connotation conceptual under simulacra , those who Baldoni has created to describe lives , passions and destinies of Virginia Woolf , Amelia Rosselli , Ingeborg Bachmann, Antonia Pozzi and many others.
