STATEMENT
I was born in Milan in 1985.
My plastic research is structured on relationship between Sculpture and Architecture, with a started
imprint plastic strong. My projects, made of alveolar or pressed cardboard, are conceived to be
achieved of materials like steel, tool, reinforced concrete and glass.
These sculptures are not intended to remain anchor to a objectual interpretation but these attempt to
extend and develop into the architectonic design space; the plastic volumes show a geometrical formal structure, between Minimal Art and Deconstruction, pointing to asymmetric cuts, “cracks” inward that invite the user to enter into the sculpture, at least conceptual, approaching the architectonic design, levelling the “distance” between user and plastic project.
The realization of these projects in plastic scale always provides the combination of volumetric and
geometric elements, with well-defined lines, that are compressed between their, with a dovetail
highlighted by straw yellow or fluorescent green, different on the strength of the project nature,
alluding to insertion of a “luminescent” value its neon light, understanding as energizing element,
plowing the sculpture volume, contained within its own “aseptic” and never ornamental use.
To everything is added a more performative part of the research which provides the people, the users
participation in the sculpture constructive fase that it decomposed into more modules, will be
reconstruct by the users, both based on the my voice informations but I am not physically present on the place of the performance, managing what happens means a video retake on screen and I giving the voice information means a microphone and collaborating with the people in sculpture building facilitating a triple direct comparison: artist – art work – user.
