Like a visual artist in my work, I explores the technique in a singular manner in pursuit of knowing the relationship between recurrent materials in the history of visual art and unconventional materials in traditional topics as landscape, nature, traditions and human relations. The last exibhition in october 2014 “Flashes of Mexico” in the Museum of the City of Cuernavaca was conformed like a point of approaching to Mexican traditions. The smell of a perfume or the sound of a melody, they evoke feelings and remembrances. Thus "Flashes of Mexico" is a collection of paintings, which when observe them they show you references of colors, textures and patterns that exalt places and memories of life experiences and cultural identity. The use of kraft paper is a traditional support for the sketches in charcoal, chalk or pastel, however, when you wrinkle it totally changes their appearance giving a rich surface texture that can be modeled and painted with acrylic to obtain the desired result. "I think the real pleasure lies in self-expression, development of being and growth of human potential, the key is to enjoy the artistic activity itself, the creation and work processes that make me an a ejecutor artist”MB.
