Biography
For me the camera is a mean to express my emotions and photography is definitely my passion.
As a photographer I find myself doing various kinds of works: weddings, events, social reportage and journalism, the last two definitely my favourites.
In fact, personally I am more attracted to reportage, because of its style and the chance it gives me to take pictures that can grab the essence of the people I have in front of me. In doing this I try to experiment new ideas, using a simple approach and through direct contact with people, aiming to konw and understand the needs of those I am photographing. All this helps me to create the right feeling and to offer images that are very close to reality .
The photography style I feel close is very casual, natural, and spontaneous. I also love portrait photography where I always try to bring to the light the most umpredictable and hidden side of my subjects.
I believe that photography is to live, to know, to observe; from this belief arises the desire to be able to photograph freely without constraints.
I conclude with one of my favorite quotes, of the great photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson:
"To photograph [ ... ] You put on the same line of sight the mind, eyes and heart. It's a way of life.”
